Tucker Griffin Barnes is proud to announce that Mary Pat Hanson was recently selected to serve as the Paralegal Chair of the Paralegal Section Committee, Virginia Trial Lawyers Association for the upcoming year. Mary Pat is an extremely dedicated and experienced paralegal in the field of Criminal Defense and Personal Injury.
Mary Pat has a BS degree in Criminal Justice and Political Science from Marshall University. She is a former police officer with 28 years experience as a paralegal in the fields of Criminal Defense and Personal Injury. Mary Pat is the Charlottesville Liaison for the Virginia Alliance of Paralegal Associations. She has chaired and co-chaired numerous paralegal seminars for both the West Virginia and Virginia Trial Lawyers Associations. Additionally, Mary Pat has taught paralegal courses and has been a frequent speaker for paralegal seminars. Prior to coming to Charlottesville, Mary Pat was a member of the Richmond Paralegal Association where she was selected as Paralegal of the Year.
